Westminster Arts* has been supporting the arts in the City of Westminster since 1965 when the organisation was established to work with local organisations, groups and individuals to produce and develop arts in the community. Since 1985 we have been generously funded by Westminster City Council and working closely together we ensure our services benefit people living, working or studying in the City of Westminster.
Our Focus
On an annual basis Westminster Arts funds a wide range of projects including: dance, theatre, visual arts, film, photography, literature, spoken word, music, arts & social care programmes as well as festivals and cultural events. To ensure funding goes directly to those most in need and that activity reaches people without easy access to the arts, our guidelines stipulate that priority will be given to projects that fulfil one or more of our criteria: Participation, Innovation, Access & Inclusion and Partnerships
We are dedicated to arts projects that positively and creatively reflect the diversity of our communities and bring together people of all ages, backgrounds and cultures.
